Hi Mike!
As the wedding approaches we have a few questions that have come up.
First, our venue recently email us and mentioned that on top of the banquet permit required for serving alcohol, they require you to have insurance that includes bartending (a MAST permit is not sufficient), and they will also need a COI (certificate of insurance) with The Brick House Gardens listed as additionally insured. Is this all fairly standard documentation for you?
Second, for our signature cocktails, we noticed there was a list on your website. Do we need to choose one of those or can we choose our own? Also, we will be providing the liquor and we have a fairly extensive collection at our house, so we were just going to bring a few bottles of each kind. Is that ok? Or do you only serve our signature cocktails as the liquor? For instance,…
Thanks, Mike. Once we finalize our wine and beer selections we will send you over a list of the options. Regarding the beer service, we dont mind serving the beer in bottles, but for some reason I though we had the collins glasses on the quote for beer? Maybe I am mistaken?
Also, I wanted to double check a few items. Will there be a water station for the duration of the wedding, and will water be served at dinner as well? And will you be bringing ice, or do we need to bring it?
We will be meeting with the venue in a few weeks, and we can definitely get you a diagram and an aerial.
We will also keep you up to date on the timeline, but it should be pretty similar to whats on the contract.
Everyone will arrive at 4:30 (grab drinks and the appetizers we selected), dinner will be at 5:15, then a cocktail hour after dinner. The ceremony will start around 8-8:15 (max 30 minutes), and then dessert & cutting the cake will be after the ceremony. The party will wind down at 10.
