Hi Mike!
As the wedding approaches we have a few questions that have come up.
First, our venue recently email us and mentioned that on top of the banquet permit required for serving alcohol, they require you to have insurance that includes bartending (a MAST permit is not sufficient), and they will also need a COI (certificate of insurance) with The Brick House Gardens listed as additionally insured. Is this all fairly standard documentation for you?
Second, for our signature cocktails, we noticed there was a list on your website. Do we need to choose one of those or can we choose our own? Also, we will be providing the liquor and we have a fairly extensive collection at our house, so we were just going to bring a few bottles of each kind. Is that ok? Or do you only serve our signature cocktails as the liquor? For instance, our signature cocktails will probably be a gin drink and a bourbon drink, but if someone wants tequila and we provide it, can that be served?
Lastly, we noticed a discrepancy in the 2 statements you posted to this thread. I think the difference is one is missing our $500 deposit. I just wanted to be sure of the final total, and when the rest of that will be due.
Thanks, Mike. Once we finalize our wine and beer selections we will send you over a list of the options. Regarding the beer service, we dont mind serving the beer in bottles, but for some reason I though we had the collins glasses on the quote for beer? Maybe I am mistaken?
Also, I wanted to double check a few items. Will there be a water station for the duration of the wedding, and will water be served at dinner as well? And will you be bringing ice, or do we need to bring it?
